ABH Events

ABH hosts a number of events, meetings, opportunities, and occasional trainings throughout the year, most of which are for ABH Members only. Our Annual Meeting occurs annually in May, and our Salute to Excellence event occurs annually in October. Trainings occur on an ad hoc basis.

Annual Meeting

This year's Annual Meeting will take place on Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at The Westin Waltham Boston. ABH will be joined by David Seltz, Executive Director of the Massachusetts Health Policy Commission (HPC). As Executive Director, Mr. Seltz has led the HPC through its growth into a nationally recognized leader in health policy and health care reform efforts. To date, five other states have established cost benchmarking programs with monitoring agencies modeled after the HPC.

Salute to Excellence

ABH’s Salute to Excellence has traditionally been a celebratory day when we recognize individuals and groups, often clinical and direct care staff, who have made outstanding contributions to community-based behavioral healthcare in Massachusetts.
